NIAGARA ANGELS CLOSE DEAL WITH DASH MD

The Niagara Angels successfully closed an investment in Dash MD as part of a $500,000 seed round. Dash MD is a mobile app that helps patients track, manage, and find the care they need once they’ve left the care provider.  In some exciting news, Dash MD is in the final stages of forming a partnership with the Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network which is responsible for $775,000 residents in the area.

Zack Fisch CEO added “that the initial value of this contract will be our biggest to date in dollar value, somewhere in the six-figure range. While the cash flow from this is certainly wonderful for us and our investors, this sends a strong signal across the province (and beyond) that Dash MD is a brand known for quality and is tried and tested by a governmental organization at the provincial level of our healthcare system.”
Dash MD is also in the final stages of finalizing a partnership with Medtronic which will entail research with them surrounding Dash MD’s impact on congestive heart failure patients. “We’re excited by this partnership as Medtronic sells into thousands of hospitals every single day. They are the perfect strategic partner for us – giving us reach into hospitals worldwide -all being potential launch sites for Dash MD.”Zack and his team have met with senior corporate leadership from Medtronic (Minnesota) to discuss the possibility of licensing as well as future acquisition. Their round is now over 50% full. They are meeting with the Golden Triangle Angel Network later this month in Waterloo and are actively looking for additional investors to join the Dash MD family.
