The Niagara Angel Network is an active Angel investor group that has invested over $15 million in early stage companies. The group is an independent consortium of over 40 individual accredited angel investors mainly from Niagara, and throughout Southern Ontario.
The Niagara Angels typically invest 100,000-$1,000,000 in seed/early stage companies, and syndicate deals with other Angel groups across Ontario. Because of the business expertise of the membership, the group is very receptive to a wide variety of sectors and investment opportunities.
As investors, they seek an excellent return on their investments, expanding their list of portfolio of companies, and providing essential business guidance to early stage companies. In short, our Angels have the financial resources, expertise and experience to help build successful businesses!
At present, the Niagara Angels is not a fund and does not invest as a group. Our members collaborate on due diligence but make individual investment decisions. Each member makes their own thorough review of the opportunity, including speaking with representatives of the company.
The Niagara Angel Network is a not-for-profit corporation whose primary business offices are located in the Regional Municipality of Niagara, and is managed by a small professional staff supervised by a Board of Directors elected by the membership.
